Resort Overview

After several reschedules due to covid and snow storms, we were finally able to visit Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club in Brewster , Massachusetts on Cape Cod. The biggest thing that struck me is how well laid out the hotel and grounds are.

This allows for quick and easy access to all the amenities. Obviously we focused on the Igloos, Frost Bar and Fireplace Dining (will cover those in below). But the on property beach, 6 pools, and dining options including the bar overlooking the beach and ocean, were so easy to get to.

The Main Mansion hosts a bar and at least half a dozen rooms with fireplaces for inside dining options. Current Covid guidelines are being followed and as we come out of it, the options may change.

Accommodations

The rooms were larger than expected as we stayed in the West Wing about 50 feet off the main Mansion, which was connected by a covered walk way.

Tommy Bahama bath products were a nice touch instead of generic brands, and the photos speak for themselves with comfort. The private porch was nice, but due to lighting and timing I was not able to properly shoot it.

Igloos & Frost Bar

Even with a wide angle lens, it is hard to show off the 10 igloos or how perfect the views are from them, day or night, at Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club . Each Igloo come with seating for 6, blankets, a very soft rug inside allowing for you to sit on the ground, heating, Bluetooth speakers, outlets, and a special menu for items designed to have inside with fantastic cocktails.

Each can be reserved for 90 minutes, which we enjoyed before moving inside to The Frost Bar and then one of the Fireplace rooms!

Food and Drinks!

Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club delivers on a special menu of easy to eat items in the Igloos, and then a full menu available in their Frost Bar as well as inside the main mansion for seating by any of their half dozen fireplaces.

All of their menus change seasonally, so oceanedge.com is always where to check. Of note, the Jack Frost cocktail, the Cocoa Martini, the Hot Cocoa Board, and the Lobster Roll with a kick of Tarragon were my favorites.

Fire Pits

A friend told me that she had her wedding here and that they loved the two fire pits at night on either side of the bar that overlooked the ocean. I figured I probably should post these shots as the sunset and night time photos were pretty and stark. Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club

Generally one side gets the sunrise, and the other gets the sunset depending on time of year. Obviously this one was spectacular.
